Alpenchallenge AMP City ONE

The BMC Alpenchallenge AMP City ONE is a premium electric bicycle built around a lightweight carbon frame, integrated cockpit, performance-oriented drivetrain, and modern flat-mount disc brake system. Designed for riders who want the practicality of an urban and fitness bike with the benefits of electric assistance, this configuration combines BMC’s Alpenchallenge AMP platform with carefully selected components from Shimano and DT Swiss.

At the heart of the bike is the Alpenchallenge AMP Premium Carbon frame, featuring Micro Travel Technology, a Flat Mount brake design, and a 12 × 142 mm thru-axle rear standard. The frame is paired with an Alpenchallenge Premium Carbon fork, providing a lightweight and refined front-end setup. The cockpit uses a BMC LSB 02 handlebar with the BMC ICS 01 integrated cockpit design, creating a clean and integrated appearance.

The seating setup includes an Alpenchallenge AMP “D” Premium Carbon seatpost and a saddle with a 15 mm offset. The drivetrain features a 1 × 11-speed configuration with a Shimano CR-E80 38T crankset, Shimano Metrea 11–32T cassette, Shimano HG-701 chain, Shimano Metrea rear derailleur, and Shimano Metrea shifters. This combination provides a practical range of gearing for everyday riding, fitness, commuting, and varied terrain.

Braking is handled by Shimano Metrea brake levers and calipers, paired with SM-RT81 rotors measuring 160 mm front and 160 mm rear. The wheel setup uses DT Swiss AMP 1800 Spline db 25 rims with a 12 mm thru-axle configuration.
